Tuesdays and Thursdays

Westport Tri Club run training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at Westport Sports Complex track at 7.30 pm.
This is a fully lit, cinder track facility which offers members the opportunity to work together as a group.
Tuesday sessions are focused on endurance running while Thursday are focused on improving speed.
Both sessions are helpful to members as in a Triathlon the run distances to be covered are from 5k upwards.This is called long distance running.
We use both a Heart rate and Pace approach to the sessions and ALL levels of athlete are catered for.
Come down and give it a go...we are here to help!!
Cost is €2 per session to cover lights and track/complex maintenance.
